Soft tissue fillers are amazing products that can dramatically enhance your appearance and erase years of aging in minutes.
We use both Restylane and Teosyal fillers at our clinc. Both of these products are clear colorless gels. They are made of a pure substance called hyaluronic acid (HA) that is identical to the HA found in humans. HA is a substance normally found in all of our body tissues. As we age our own HA gets degraded and weakens leading to predictable signs of age.
By injecting small amounts of these products into the skin with a fine needle we can sculpt and shape lines and hollows in the face to give a youthful natural look. Results are instant and long lasting from 6 months to a year depending on the product and location used.
Ongoing education and training mean that we are always up to date on the most advanced and desirable enhancement procedures like tear trough reduction, cheek augmentation, jaw line restoration and eye brow shaping.

Frequently Asked Questions about Fillers:
What are soft tissue fillers?
Soft tissue fillers are non animal based purified hyaluronic acid products made in a lab. They are not taken from human sources but are identical chemically to the HA found in our bodies.
How do they work?
Injecting these products into and under the skin can dramatically reverse years of aging and sometimes even improve on features you are unhappy with (lip enhancement, eye brow lift, cheek augmentation). They are slowly degraded by your body over months giving long lasting natural looking results.
What lines can be treated?
Any line or crease can be treated with these products. The most common are nasolabial folds, marionette lines, lip lines, frown lines.
Can fillers be used to enhance features on my face I'm unhappy with?
Yes. Full, healthy looking lips, done in a subtle manner to avoid that ducky unnatural look are amazing. Cheek bone augmentation can make your eyes shine again. Softening or eliminating your jowel line can also restore a younger, more confident appearance.
How long do fillers last?
Different peoples bodies dissolve the product at different speeds. Depending on the location and product used between six months and a year is common. In the final month or two of the products lifespan you'll start to notice lines slowly starting to reoccur. This gives you plenty of time to arrange a touch up session.
How many treatments do I need?
Usually only one treatment is needed to achieve optimal results however sometimes several sessions are needed depending on location and depth of lines.
Do I have to treat my whole face?
No, you can pick those areas that bother you most and give them priority. You can even partially treat now and delay completion for months to allow a slow subtle change.
Do botox and fillers do the same thing?
No, both of these products act in different ways but are absolutely complementary to each other. In some cases botox will enhance or lengthen the effect of the fillers.
Can I feel the fillers in my skin?
Depending on where and how much is used, some people will be able to feel it for the first few days. This feeling will fade to a subtle fullness that stays as long as the filler lasts. It would not be noticeable to others and does not change consistency with heat or cold.
Are there any side effects?
Yes, they are rare but include redness, swelling, tenderness, itching, bruising, allergy.
Are there any people who can't have fillers?
Yes, persons with multiple, severe allergic reactions to drugs, food or certain proteins should avoid tissue fillers.
